ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Army’s Major Zeeshan Qamar was shot dead over robbery resistance in Islamabad ’s I-8 Sector, The Express Tribune reported.
Zeeshan was in his house along with his wife and child when three armed suspects entered his house at around 4:45pm on Thursday. The officer grabbed and took hold of the one who had entered first but the other two suspects shot at Qamar before fleeing from the scene.
The officer was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) but died of the bullet injury to his chest. Police have registered a murder case against unidentified persons.
According to police, investigating is underway in the case but found no clue yet.
