ISLAMABAD – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek -e-Insaf Imran Khan submitted his reply in Election commission of Pakistan regarding the disqualiffication reference here on Monday.
In his reply, he termed the allegations against him ‘Baseless’ adding that he purchased land in Bani Gala from his own pocket by initially paying Rs. 6.5 million against a total of Rs. 43.5 million. He expressed that the land was purchased on installments.
The law maker further stated that the London flat was purchased after a payment of Rs. 117,000 £ and it was sold for Rs. 715,000 £ however due to a delay in selling London flat, his wife Jemima Khan paid the rest of the amount for land in Bani Gala.
He stated that he had got all the documentary evidence for the purchase and so the allegations leveled against him were baseless.
