DPO, AC, Quetta narrowly escape in terrorists firing, five security officials injured

QUETTA – The District Police Officer (DPO) and Assistant Commissioner (AC) Quetta narrowly escaped a firing incident, which also injured five security officials.

The incident took place on Saturday in the Awaran area of Quetta after unknown terrorists opened fire at the convoy of DPO and AC.

Security officials retaliated to the firing, resulting in five officials being injured, and the terrorists fleeing the scene. The injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. According to doctors two of them are in critical condition.

The home minister Sarfraz Bugti has condemned the attack and directed health officials to provide best medical treatment to the injured.- Online
