LAHORE – Next Chief Justice of Supreme Court (SC), Saqib Nisar said that no pressure will be taken from any corner while making decisions, adding, “everyone will learn what is transparency”.
Addressing a ceremony regarding Silver Jubilee of Lahore High Court (LHC), he said that all possible measures will be taken to restore public trust, and pledged to perform his duty with honesty.
Nisar said that he was not promising to change the system, but efforts will be made using legitimate powers. “Appointment of judges on merit resolves many issues.”
“I started my career from a bench, but the advice of my father led me to success as he ever said that there will be no impediments for honest work. To be successful in life, hardworking with honesty is essential,” he said.
