LAHORE – Good news for aspirants of Umrah as Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a reduction in fares as a goodwill gesture on New Year.
“The deal would start from today (Wednesday) and will continue till January 31,” A PIA spokesman said on Wednesday.
Athar Awan, the PIA’s Lahore spokesperson, said passengers travelling from Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan and Peshawar would be able to purchase a return ticket for Rs 43,000 while fares for Karachiites have dropped to Rs 35,000 excluding tax.
