Nisar terms India as biggest hurdle to regional peace

ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday termed India the biggest hurdle in the way of regional peace.

Talking to a three-member delegation of British and European parliaments here, he regretted that despite Pakistan’s invaluable sacrifice for global and regional peace, it was slammed by some elements setting aside ground realities.

He said that besides those having sketchy information and playing into the hands of others, the critics also included those whose hands were stained with the blood of oppressed people who were a stumbling block in the way of sustained peace in the region, in a veiled reference to India.
