Radd-ul-Fasaad: Forces kill one terrorists, detain dozens supects in latest action

RAWALPINDI – In ongoing nationwide anti-terrorism campaign, operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, at least one terrorist was killed and various were arrested by security forces on Thursday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Frontier Corps and intelligence officials carried out a joint search operation in different areas of Balochistan, including Indore and Kech. During the operation, terrorists sprayed bullets on law enforcement personnel and in response, on terrorist was killed.

The officials also recovered huge cache of arms and explosives during search of the surrounding areas.

On the other hand, Pakistan Rangers Punjab conducted search operation in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Attock and confiscated a cache of explosives during the searches.

The countrywide military operation – ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’, or ‘Elimination of evils’ – had been launched days after a series of deadly militant attacks killed more than 115 people across Pakistan in just over a week, including civilians, policemen and soldiers.
