GUJRANWALA – Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Friday that war against terrorism was underway and the country would be cleansed of all fasadis (miscreants).
He was talking to jawaans and officers of Pak Army during his visit to Gujranwala and Pasrur cantonments.
“Our fight against terrorism is continuing and with the support of our great nation we shall cleanse our country of Fasadis of all hue and colour, insha Allah,” he reaffirmed.
The Army Chief was briefed about operational activities, Operation Radd ul Fasaad and the census preparations.
Earlier on arrival at Gujranwala , COAS was received by Lieutenant General Ikram ul Haque, Corps Commander Gujranwala.
