ISLAMABAD – Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said that Pakistan was making efforts to verify reports of killing of two abducted Chinese nationals.
Zakaria said that Pakistan was committed to eliminate terrorism, adding “such acts will not weaken our resolve to fight against it.”
The two Chinese nationals, a man and a woman, were teachers at a private language school in Quetta. They were kidnapped from the Jinnah Town neighbourhood on May 24 by gunmen dressed as police.
On Thursday, the IS news agency claimed to have killed the two Chinese teachers.
