ISLAMABAD – Amid US accusations of providing safe havens to terrorist in Pakistan, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has claimed that India was using the soil of Afghanistan for conducting terrorist activities in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asif said that enemies of Pakistan are creating a conspiracy against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his determination to complete China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Gwadar Port.
Under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan yielded fruitful results in the field of economy and in the war against terrorism, he said.
Development in every field will mean that Pakistan will soon emerge as an economic power in the world very soon, defence minister added.
