ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that is presently active against Sharif family is not willing to reopen a case related to Hudaibiya Paper Mills, claimed Geo News quoting sources.
The NAB authorities have decided this following an order issued by Rawalpindi bench of the Lahore High Court in 2011 barring the accountability court from taking up the matter after ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members moved the court challenging revival of references, besides asking for dismissing the cases.
According to the media outlet, the bureau is also of the view that the Supreme Court did not give clear directions to launch a fresh probe in the Hudaibiya case.
The NAB is currently working on preparing reference against Nawaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz, Capt (retd) Safdar and Ishaq Dar in the light of Panamagate verdict.
To make the reference, the apex court on Thursday issued certified copies of classified volume 10 the Panama case Joint Investigation Team’s report.
