SIALKOT – Former Pakistan Test all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has reportedly decided to join the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
PTI’s Sialkot-based political leader, Usmar Dar on Saturday shared some of his pictures with the former cricketer on his Facebook page.
He claimed that a meeting was held with Razzaq in which he has expressed his willingness to be part of the Imran Khan-led party.
Dar added that Razzaq would meet Imran Khan in the coming days and officially announce his joining the party.
The all-rounder had announced his retirement from the international cricket in June this year after being a part of the national team the last time in 2013.
Razzaq had filed his retirement to the cricket board in 2016 seeking a Non-Objection Certificate (NOC) to play Masters Champions League in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
