PISHIN – Six suspected terrorists have been apprehended in Karbala and Pishin areas of Balochistan under the ongoing Operation Radd ul Fasaad.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), cache of arms and ammunition including 500 kilograms of explosives, suicide jackets, prepared IEDs, sub-machine guns, mines, and communication equipment were recovered during the raids.
FC Balochistan conducted intelligence-based operations on terrorists’ suspected hideouts and averted a major terrorist activity in Balochistan, ISPR said.
The raids were conducted as part of ongoing operation Raddul Fasaad across the country.
Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad is an operation conducted by the Pakistani military in support of local law enforcement agencies to de-weaponise and eliminate the hidden terrorist sleeper cells across Pakistan.
The operation is aimed at eliminating the threat of terrorism and consolidating the gains of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, which was launched in 2014 as a joint military offensive.
