PML-N stands united despite difficulties, asserts Hamza Shehbaz

LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz said on Monday that the accountability process against the Sharif family was a difficult time but the party stands united while facing this trouble.

Talking to a private news channel, Hamza ruled out controversy in the family, saying his relationship with Nawaz Sharif is based on love and respect.

“There is no dispute within the Sharif family. Maryam is my elder sister. There can be differences in opinion. But we are one and united when it comes to elections,” he added.

Replying to a question regarding Kulsoom Nawaz, who was diagnosed with cancer while undergoing medical tests in London, he said, “She is recovering. I pray to Allah for her speedy recovery.”

The former lawmaker denied the emergence of a front in the party. “There is only one leader of the PML-N and he is Nawaz Sharif “.

He reaffirmed that Nawaz Sharif should get justice remarking that the Sharif family had passed through tough times in past as well

“Our supporters have a long history of offering sacrifices for the supreme cause,” he said.

Hamza showed confidence that his party would win the elections. “Nation will hold those who lied and cashed-in on fake promises accountable on election day.”
