Sindh police official’s last message to PM Khan before his martyrdom

KARACHI – A video of a head constable in Sindh police, who was recently shot dead in a robbery attempt, emerged online with a message to newly-elected Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Among other segments of society, the police officers had also attached hopes with the new government which held reins of the country after bagging victory in the July 25 elections.

Martyred Head Constable Muhammad Imran in a video, which went viral on social media, requested the new prime minister to revise the salaries of Sindh police officials.

Highlighting the plight of the Sindh police, he added that the salaries of security officials were comparatively low than the police in others provinces including Punjab.

The police head constable was killed and one person was injured for resistance during a robbery in the Karimabad area of Karachi during the wee hours of Sunday. The incident took place near APWA girls Collage in Karimabad area.

The robbers were trying to loot a shop when the head-constable, Muhammad Imran -son of Qasim – posted at Sharifabad police station, resisted against the robbers and he was shot dead. While, Javed Ali, son of Abdul Majeed, was critically injured.
