PM Imran to chair cabinet meeting today

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting today where important decisions are expected to be taken.

Local media reported that the prime minister will take the cabinet members into confidence over his recent visit to Saudi Arabia and its financial package.

The current political and economic situation of the country will also be discussed by the cabinet members, besides chalking out a plan for the next NA session going to be held on Oct 29.

An approval for appointment of the chairman of Heavy Industries Taxila would also be given by the cabinet today. A number of memorandum of understandings (MoUs) with foreign countries would also be approved.

A summary pertaining to the issuance of blue passports to officials who go to foreign countries for investigation would also be tabled in the federal cabinet meeting.

An approval for the formation of the IT task force would also be given in the meeting.
