BRUSSELS – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s special adviser on foreign affairs has arrived in Brussels to represent Pakistan at Pak-EU Strategic Dialogue on Tuesday.

Sartaj Aziz will also participate in the two-day Brussels Conference on Afghanistan organized by the European Union as Pakistani delegate.

Jointly organized by the EU and government of Afghanistan, the conference will be attended by representatives of more than seventy countries and twenty international organizations.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdullah Abdullah will represent their country at the global gathering which is expected to pledge new funding sources for Afghanistan.

Sartaj Aziz will also speak at a briefing seminar organized by the European Institute of Asian Studies in cooperation with the Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels.
