LAHORE – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday remarked that the New Year is the beginning of Pakistan’s golden era.
In a tweet message on the eve of New Year, the prime minister said our New Year resolution is to wage jihad against the four ills of poverty, illiteracy, injustice and corruption.

On New Year’s Eve, Khan said that the government has successfully resolved 100,000 complaints of people on the Pakistan Citizen Portal. “This marks the highest and fastest grievance redressal in our history that too within a short span of 60 days only,” he wrote.

President Dr Arif Alvi sent wishes to the entire nation and said that he prays Pakistan keeps moving towards prosperity.

“I wish a Happy New Year to everyone and pray that Allah offers you and your family success and happiness. I also pray that Pakistan keeps moving towards prosperity so that poverty and unemployment are eliminated from the country,” the president said.
