Pakistani Forces Gun Down Six Baloch Liberation Army Members In Harnai Operation

QUETTA – Security forces in Pakistan eliminated six members of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Harnai, Balochistan.

Reports in local media quoting security officials said the intelligence based operation led the identification of the militants as Shafo Samalani alias Tadin, Sarmad Khan alias Dastin, Gul Mari alias Wahid Baloch, Ghulam Qadir Mari alias Anjir Baloch, Obaid Baloch alias Fida, and Taj Muhammad alias Babel.

BLA militants were reportedly involved in multiple attacks against security personnel and civilians in the southwestern region.

The recent IBO is said to be a critical victory for security forces, emphasising that the loss of these prominent militants marks a substantial setback for terror outfit.

Harnai operation comes amid rising tensions in Balochistan, where security forces continue to face threats from various militant groups. Recently, a gas company in Musakhel was attacked, resulting in machinery being set ablaze and the abduction of 20 workers.

The security forces’ recent actions highlight their ongoing commitment to countering terrorism in the region and restoring stability for the people of Balochistan.
