QUETTA – Balochistan saw chaotic scenes as over 20 laborers from a gas company camp located on the national highway in the Musa Khel area.
Eyewitnesses told the media the assailants opened fire on the camp before forcibly taking the laborers away. Local police officials confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is currently underway to track down the perpetrators and recover the abducted workers.
This incident follows another tragic event in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, where gunfire at a residential site resulted in the deaths of seven laborers.
The victims were working on a house construction project when the attack occurred. Authorities are calling for increased security measures to protect workers in the region, as violence against laborers has become a growing concern in Balochistan.
