QUETTA – Another incident of mass killing of Punjabi labourers reported in Panjgur district of Balochistan, where seven men were shot dead by armed men in the Khuda-i-Abadan area.
The gruesome incident sent shockwaves across the country, and incident was highly condemned by people of all walks of life. Police officials, laborers, who hailed from different areas of Punjab, were residing in the house when the attackers barged in and srpayed bullets on them.
The victims were reportedly shifted taken to the Panjgur District Hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The motive behind the mass murder is still unknown, and a search operation has been launched to nab the culprits.
Panjgur DC and other officials were also on the site and assured that the authorities are doing everything in their power to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.
The incident sparked widespread condemnatins and locals expressed outrage and horror at the brutal attack. The government of country’s sparsely populated region also promised to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of all citizens, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the murder.

At least nine labourers were shot dead in Noshki, Balochistan, earlier in April, following an ambush by unknown assailants while they were traveling from Quetta.
Their bodies, found under a bridge with multiple gunshot wounds, were identified as residents of Gujranwala and Mandi Bahauddin. Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti condemned the killings, expressing condolences and pledging that those responsible would face severe consequences.
