India resorts to firing along LoC, Pakistan Army responds effectively

RAWALPINDI – Indian troops on Monday initiated firing in Neza Pir, Pandu, Khanjar Munawar, Battal and Baghsar sectors along the Line of Control (LoC), which continued intermittently till filing of this report.

Pakistan Army troops responded effectively by targeting Indian posts. No casualties on Pakistan side occurred during last 24 hours, an ISPR press release said.

Pakistan Armed Forces are persistently in state of alert and vigilance.
Meanwhile, Namaze Janaza of Naik Khurram Shaheed, who embraced martyrdom in Nikyal Sector on March 2 was offered on Monday in Dera Ghazi Khan. The martyred solider was laid to rest with full military honour for defending the motherland, it added.
