ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The national security advisers, Sartaj Aziz and Ajit Doval, of Pakistan and India would hold a meeting on August 23 in New Delhi to discuss bilateral ties, reported Indian media.
According to details Islamabad has formally informed the Indian authorities about the date after New Delhi suggested to hold dialogue on August 23 or 24.
Ajit Doval and Sartaj Aziz, the national security advisers, are likely to priorities the terrorism related issues during the talks. Doval is preparing to raise India’s concerns over slow trial of 26/11 suspect Zaki Urrehman Lakhvi whereas Pakistan is also readying a dossier regarding Samjhota Express attack, a news report said earlier .
Previously the premiers of Pakistan and India had agreed to restore bilateral dialogue during a brief meeting in Ufa last month.
