RAWALPINDI- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif along with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday inaugurated the upgradation of brass mill at Pakistan Ordinance Factory (POF) Wah.
The prime minister was flanked by Minister for Interior Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan and Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain. POF Chairman Lt. General Umar Hayyat was also present on the occasion.
Following the upgradation, the production capacity of the factory has been increased by sixteen thousand metric tons from eight thousand to twenty-four thousand.
The factory, which is fulfilling the defence needs of the country, has become the biggest factory of South Asia after the latest improvement.
