MOSCOW (Web Desk) – India has conveyed concerns to Russia over the recent joint military exercise it conducted with Pakistan.
In an interview to Russian news agency, Indian ambassador to Moscow Pankaj Saran said, “We have conveyed our views to the Russian side that military cooperation with Pakistan is a wrong approach and it will only create further problems”.
The remarks by the Indian diplomat came ahead of a meeting between Indian PM Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin scheduled for Saturday in Goa.
Apart from bilateral summit, Putin will attend the Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa(BRICS) meet on October 16.
In September, Pakistan and Russia conducted their first-ever joint military exercises from September 24 to October 10.
