Verdict on Imran, Tareen disqualification case to come in a week, predicts PTI s spokesperson

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s representative Fawad Chaudhry, on Wednesday, said that the Supreme Court’s verdict on the disqualification case of Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen will come in a week. “Both cases will go to the trash bin,” he claimed.

Fawad Chahudhry, while speaking to the journalist outside Supreme Court, said that only a small matter of technical nature is under consideration in the court. The matter under consideration is whether land leased by a landowner should be declared in the election nomination papers or not.

He further added that the court has minutely taken into consideration all aspects of the cases filed against the PTI leaders.

The PTI spokesperson also commented on the recent address of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lawmaker Captain(retd) Safdar. He said that the address was an attack on the white part (representing minorities) of the Pakistani flag. “He issued unnecessary comments which were deliberately issued to push Pakistan towards chaos,” Chauhdary said. “ The PML-N govt in a systematic manner is taking Pakistan to chaos.”
