ISLAMABAD – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that opposition parties are making the health issue of former premier Nawaz Sharif as a tool to fulfil their political agenda and pressurize the incumbent government, the Radio Pakistan reported.
Talking in a private news channel programme, Fawad said that there are two ways for Nawaz Sharif to get out of the present situation, the one to get bail from the court and the other to ask National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for a plea bargain.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated categorically that Nawaz Sharif can avail medical treatment from anywhere in the country.

After meeting the elder Sharif, who is suffering from a cardiac ailment, at Kot Lakhpat jail to inquire about his health, Bilawal had demanded of the government that best medical treatment should be given to Nawaz Sharif as he was very sick and needed urgent treatment.
The meeting continued for an hour between the two leaders in the room of assistant superintendent jail.
