ISLAMABAD – Following the directions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, agenda of Council of Common Interest (CCI) has been changed.
According to Geo News, a point of establishment of a fund for the security of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has been added to the agenda, while a summary regarding census, establishment of flood commission and giving the net profit of Rs 82 billion to Punjab on hydel electricity would also be part of the agenda.
Sources informed that recommendations regarding fixing of electricity tariff by Nepra and withdrawal of authority of monitoring will be put forward.
A summary to amend to the Nepra act has also been added to the agenda in order to limit the powers of the Nepra.
