'Fair decisions' don't need justification or clarification: Maryam Nawaz
LAHORE- Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said that Justice speaks for itself and doesn't need any justification or clarifications.

Daughter of ousted primer Nawaz Sharif shared these views on Twitter.

"My Lord! does your 'baba' make WhatsApp calls too?", she further added.

The tweet came after Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar censured the critics of the judiciary who start maligning it after unfavourable verdict adding that no one dictated the court on what line to take in deciding a case.

Addressing a seminar in Lahore, Justice Nisar declared that the perception about the judiciary being a part of a bigger plan or design needs to end now.

Referring to the judiciary using the analogy of a baba (village elder), he said: "The judiciary is your 'baba', do not doubt its integrity," he said.

The Lahore High Court has already issued a notice to Maryam on a petition seeking contempt of court proceedings against her for tweeting 'outrageous' remarks against judges of the Supreme Court.
