Moon not sighted, Ramzan to begin on Friday

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman has announced Wednesday that the moon has not been sighted and the first of Ramadan will be on Friday, June 19.

He was addressing a press conference after the meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for sighting the moon of Ramadan, which was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs here.

The provincial and zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees had earlier informed that Ramadan moon was not sighted from any place in Pakistan.
