ISLAMABAD – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met former president and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Arif Alvi.
The meeting took place at Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s residence in Islamabad, with PTI’s Secretary General Salman Akram Raja also in attendance.
Media reports say the discussion focused on the proposed constitutional amendment and political matters.
It is noteworthy that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been the center of attention for both the government and the opposition regarding the proposed constitutional amendment for several days.
Additionally, various delegations have been meeting with him.
Just yesterday, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met him to seek suggestions regarding the constitutional amendment.
