Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar Increases Fee For Emergency Opd Services

PESHAWAR – The Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar has increased the registration fee for emergency and OPD (Outpatient Department) by Rs30.

A spokesperson for the medical facility stated that the registration fee for both emergency and OPD services has been raised from Rs20 to Rs50, adding that the increase was made after approval by the Board of Governors.

He said that such decisions are necessary to manage the hospital’s operations. The hospital’s expenses have been reduced, and the purchase of machinery and equipment has been halted.

The hospital has one of the biggest trauma center and emergency department of the country, providing treatment, comfort and care to its patient 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Lady Reading Hospital is the level one trauma center of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where we receive all individual and mass traumas. Lady Reading Hospital Emergency department receives about 3000 to 4000 patients per day.
