UPPER DIR – At least five people were left dead while 6 others sustained injuries in a roadside blast in Upper Dir on Sunday.
The explosion took place near a double-cabin car in Gamadand area of Tehsil Sheringal.
Law enforcement officials and rescue workers arrived at the site and injured ones were shifted to nearby hospitals.
Security forces have begun a search operation after cordoning off the area; no one has claimed responsibility for the attack as of now.
