Pakistan announces T20 squad against Zimbabwe

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its T20 squad against Zimbabwe.

Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik have made a comeback for the matches scheduled to be held at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Zimbabwe became the first full international cricket team to visit Pakistan for a bilateral cricket series in six years after players arrived at the Lahore airport early today (Monday).

The Pakistani team includes Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Muhammad Rizwan, Mukhtar Ahmed, Ahmed Shahzad, Muhammad Hafeez, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Muhammad Anwar, Nouman Anwar, Hammad Azam, Anwar Ali amongst others.

Shahid Afridi is going to serve as the captain for the T20 matches.

The two teams are also expected to attend training sessions at Gaddafi Stadium today.

On May 12, Zimbabwe had announced their 16-men squad for Pakistan tour.

Their tour comprises two Twenty20s and three ODIs.
