ISLAMABAD – Minister of State for Interior Shaharyar Khan Afridi Thursday said all the political parties and national institutions are on the same page for implementing national action plan (NAP).
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had taken unprecedented steps for streamlining the system in the country, he said while talking to a private news channel.
About NAP, he said the decision was taken some time ago for controlling the defunct organizations. The measures taken by the present government had sent positive message to the world, he added.
Now, it was the responsibility of the provincial governments to work with the Center for achieving progress regarding provision of modern education to streamline the religious seminaries.
Shaharyar Afridi said those children who were getting education from religious madrasa would have modern educational system soon.
In reply to a question about Bilawal Bhutto, he said PPP leader’s speech had promoted the Indian narrative.
He said whether it was the matter of memogate, Nawaz Sharif, or issue of dawn leak, all such elements were playing politics for their personal gains.
To another question he said those involved in providing helping hands or having links with defunct organizations would face the music as per law of the land.
