LAHORE – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has kicked off his farewell visits from today, DG ISPR said in a tweet.
The news of farewell visit was confirmed by Director General ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations) Gen Asim Bajwa in a tweet as COAS addressed a huge gathering of soldiers in Lahore on Monday (today).

Gen Raheel Sharif is all set to retire on November 29 and the news of him attending farewell ceremonies confirms that the government has decided to appoint next army head despite rumours of extension in tenure of Gen Raheel.
