JEDDAH – A sigh of relief for workers as government of Saudi Arabia announced two holidays to mark National Day celebrations.
Kingdom announced two public holidays on September 22 and 23 (Sunday and Monday) in honor of the 94th Saudi National Day.
Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development confirmed that these holidays will apply to all sectors, including public, private, and civil services.
This year, National Day festivities will last for four days, with the holidays preceding the regular weekend on Friday and Saturday. Employees in both government and private sectors will receive paid leave during this time, as outlined in the Saudi Labor Law. The main observance of the Saudi National Day is set for September 23, Monday.
