FAISALABAD – The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has arrested an official of the DC Office for taking Rs5,000 bribe for issuance of a no-objection certificate (NOC) of a plot to a citizen.
Junior clerk Khizar Abbas, working in the office of Deputy Commissioner Toba Tek Singh, allegedly demanded Rs 5,000 from one Muhammad Zafar for the issuance of the NOC.
Assistant Director Investigation TT Singh Wajid Ali found the official guilty during an inquiry and sent him behind the bars.
