General Raheel, US CENTCOM chief discuss regional security

RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) - Commander US CENTCOM General Llyod Austin called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Shairf on Wednesday at the General Headquarters.

During the meeting matters of mutual interest and regional security were discussed.

General Austin acknowledged sacrifices rendered by the Pakistan Army and its efforts in the war on terror for bringing peace in Pakistan and the region.

Upon his arrival at GHQ, General Austin paid homage to Pakistan’s martyrs and laid a floral wreath at the martyrs’ memorial.
