Saad Rafique confesses accountability in PML-N’s last tenure is unjustified

LAHORE: Minister of Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Monday confessed that accountability of people made under Saifur Rehman during previous government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was ‘not right’.

Speaking at a ceremony, Saad Rafique asked Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to have a look into history of his party, as there was nothing to be proud of.”Bhutto’s government was tenure of civilian dictatorship,” he said, adding that he accepted that Bhutto’s death sentence was a judicial killing.

Criticising the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, he said that Imran Khan should set up a camp in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to improve performance.

“We are following a policy of forgiving and forgetting, as country will not make progress if we do not forgive each other.”
