Sargodha University, ACE Punjab sign MoU on youth development

SARGODHA – The Sargodha University and the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab, Sargodha Region, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to seek the youth role in eradicating corruption from the country.

The first ever MoU of any public university with ACE Punjab was signed by Vice-Chancellor Dr Ishtiaq Ahmad and ACE Regional Director Asim Raza. The former foreign minister and ambassador Inam-ul-Haq, senior faculty members, administrative staff and students of Communication and Media Studies were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the signing ceremony, Dr Ishtiaq Ahmad said that the primary mission to sign the MoU was to produce graduates with right knowledge and exposure who may join the professional world right after completion of their university education.

Under the agreement, both parties agreed to organise training, seminars and collaborative initiatives for capacity building of students and researchers, he added. They also agreed on conducting joint research projects and related activities and jointly organising orientation sessions with students on campaigns for the elimination of corruption.
