ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has once again challenged the election result of NA-122 Lahore alleging that an ‘electoral fraud’ has been committed by transferring votes without consent of voters.
PTI’s NA-122 runner up contestant Abdul Aleem Khan petition has filed a petition with ECP in this regard, urging the commission to declare the October 11 by-poll null and void.
Speaking on the occasion, Khan said that NADRA has not provided us with the complete voters data of NA-122 so far while the data provided by ECP suggests that a massive electoral fraud was committed in October 11 by-polls just like General Elections 2013.
I hope that Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) will pay heed to our complaint and give a fair verdict by unseating NA speaker Ayaz Sadiq once again, he said.
Abdul Aleem Khan was accompanied by PTI MPA from PP 147 Shoaib Saddiqui and his legal counsel Anees Hashmi.
