Punjab Govt Bans Kp Cm Gandapur From Entering For Pti Protest In Rawalpindi

LAHORE – The Punjab government on Friday imposed a ban on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to enter in Punjab.

According to the Punjab Home Department, a ban has been imposed on Ali Amin Gandapur entering Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the protest. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM will not be allowed to protest anywhere in Punjab.

The provincial government stated that no one would be allowed to disrupt the environment of Punjab.

Meanwhile, CM Ali Amin Gandapur has planned to come to Rawalpindi for the protest with an entire convoy as the PTI announced to hold protest in Pindi on Sept 28 (Today).

The Punjab Home Department earlier imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi and called in the Rangers.

The Punjab Home Department issued a notification enforcing Section 144. The Punjab government imposed Section 144 in the Rawalpindi Division for two days, banning all political gatherings, sit-ins, rallies, protests, and similar activities.

Carrying and displaying weapons will also be banned in the Rawalpindi Division, with exceptions for law enforcement personnel.
