KHULNA (Web Desk) – Pakistan, replying to Bangladesh’s first innings score of 332, were 227 for one at the end of second day of the first Test in Khulna on Wednesday.
Mohammad Hafeez was unbeaten on 137 and Azhar Ali was on 65 after debutant Sami Aslam was caught behind off Taijul Islam for 20.
Hafeez completed his 8th test century with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes whereas Azhar was lucky to score his career’s 19th fifty.
Bangladesh, who resumed at their overnight score of 236 for four, were dismissed soon after lunch.
