Petrol rates likely to go up by Rs12 from April 1

ISLAMABAD – Oil prices are likely to increase by up to 12.8% due to fluctuation in global oil prices for April 2019.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Friday moved a summary to the Petroleum Division recommended Rs11.92 per litre increase in petrol price, Rs11.17 in diesel, Kerosene Oil Rs6.65 per litre.

Similarly, Rs6.50 per litre hike in Light Diesel Oil price has been proposed.

The final decision to increase the petroleum product prices will be made by the Ministry of Finance with the consultation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
