RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Standing Committee of National Assembly on Defence Production on Thursday paid a visit to General Headquarters of Pakistan Army.
The committee was briefed by the Director General Military Operations on the situation developed at the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary after his Indian counterpart maliciously claimed to have entered Pakistani territory last night at around 02:30 in the wee hours to target terror hideouts.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif welcomed the lawmakers as they arrived at the GHQ in patronage of Chairman of the National Assembly committee, Khawaja Sohail Mansoor.
Chairman Mansoor let the army officials know that the entire nation stood by its military in whatever situation may develop, be it war with India which Pakistan never desired or friendly terms which it has invariably supported.
