Stick to your dirty politics : Waqar Younis blasts Najam Sethi

ISLAMABAD – Former Pakistani cricket captain Waqar Younis fired a broadside at the former chief of Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi for debating his competence.

Younis took to Twitter on Monday and addressed Sethi that he should stick to his dirty politics, after a video of ex-PCB chief went viral over the internet.

Younis lost his cool as Sethi had expressed that the former right-arm pacer failed to perform well when he was roped in by the cricketing board.

‘People advised me against bringing Waqar Younus back but I did,’ said Sethi that angered Younis who was quick to respond.

Waqar Younis later started speaking against me but I don’t what I have done wrong with him as I was the one who brought him, said Sethi.

In a TV interview, Sethi also expressed that former head coach Mohsin Hassan Khan used to badmouth former captain Wasim Akram but now he was working with him.

“Unfortunately, lobbies do exist in our cricketing structure, there is this Karachi, Lahore tussle as well, which cannot be denied,” Sethi affirmed.

Waqar Younis in his tweet also took a sarcastic jibe at Sethi by saying, look who is talking.

‘Your days in cricket are well over dear,’ tweeted Younis.
