LAHORE (Staff Report) – Director Punjab Food Authority Ayesha Mumtaz on Thursday sealed another branch of multinational food chain KFC in Lahore upon found using rancid frying oil and spoiled vegetables.
According to details the branch was previously served with a warning and heavy fine over unhygienic conditions however it failed to comply with instructions. The branch was also found using dirty water buckets and damaged freezers, the PFA spokesperson said, “the team found also found no hand or dish washing soap at the fast food hotel”.
The branch located on GT road was also selling products with out any proper packaging, he said.
Punjab Food Authority has been raiding on food serving places including five star hotels and multinational cafes to promote hygienic habits.
