PM House amp; Office to be revamped with Rs 83m

ISLAMABAD – An amount of Rs 83 million has been allocated under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) in the fiscal budget 2019-20 for different construction and refurbishment projects at the Prime Minister House and Prime Minister Office.

For the construction of a conference room and offices at the PM House, Rs 23.6 million has been earmarked out of the total of Rs 289 estimated cost. The project was approved on February 15, 2017 and so far, Rs 265 million has been spent on completion of its various phases.

For the rehabilitation and refurbishment of the PM Office situated at Constitution Avenue, Rs 59 million has been allocated. About Rs 142.8 million has been spent out of the estimated cost of Rs 202 million, since the project was approved on June 17, 2016.
