RAWALPINDI – The 222nd Corps Commanders’ Conference on Wednesday reviewed the geo-strategic environment besides measures taken by the government regarding the national economy.
According to the military’s media wing, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the conference at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

The top commanders also discussed the measures taken against the proscribed organisations.
“Geo-strategic, regional and National Security environment including India, Afghanistan, Iran, ongoing internal security operations and actions against proscribed organisations were also discussed,” the statement by ISPR said.
Pakistan is on positive trajectory of peace and development and shall carry forward the same towards enduring peace and prosperity, the military chief said.
